Our story begins with William “Bill” Jasunas, a World War II pilot who returned home to Connecticut and continued his service by dedicating his life to the fire protection trade. Guided by the same discipline, responsibility, and sense of duty he carried in uniform, Bill became a sprinkler fitter and played a meaningful role in advancing fire sprinkler systems across the state, including work on complex and special hazard fire protection systems. Bill passed his knowledge, work ethic, and values on to his son, Vinny Jasunas, who carried forward his father’s passion as a respected sprinkler fitter. Vinny not only mastered the trade but also taught it to his two sons, ensuring the Jasunas family tradition of service, accountability, and craftsmanship would continue into the next generation. Today, that tradition lives on through Robert Jasunas and his brother, who proudly represent the third generation of sprinkler fitters in the family. With nearly a century of combined family experience, American Fire Protection LLC continues the mission that Bill began decades ago—delivering dependable, code-compliant fire protection solutions, including fire pumps, fire extinguishers, fire hydrant services, and backflow testing and repair, built on integrity, precision, and trust.
